Since 2013 John has been helping home owners, teachers, farmers and non-profits design edible and native landscapes.

Permaculture Design at Garfield Community Farm

John is the founding and current executive director of Garfield Community Farm where he and an amazing staff work to bring ecological restoration, educational opportunities and food production to three city blocks of abandoned land in the city of Pittsburgh.
